Exonerated from by the court, the leader Vikram Singh Puar has created an atmosphere of celebration in Dewas. Along with him, the judgment was much awaited by the janta of Dewas since last three years.
The son of Maharaja Tukoji Rao Puar was charged with a man’s murder, following a land dispute in Raghogarh, in Dewasdistrict along with 12 other men, on March 18, 2015. However, he has been finally released of all the charges, as the tribunal failed to prove the accusations against him.
Puar has been acquitted by an Additional Sessions Judge Joginder Singh, and the reactions coming are as expected. People of Dewas are delighted and their happiness is hard to be explained in words. Back in all glory, the scion of the Puar dynasty has marked an occasion which is no less than a festival.
The people rejoiced it thoroughly and expressed their love towards their leader by offering him sweets and garlands of flowers. In fact, they have been showering love on their leaderthroughout three years, spent waiting for the verdict.
Besides, Vikram Singh Puar has also been taking several significant steps towards the betterment of his birthplace. He has been walking on the footsteps of his forefathers by leadingDewas towards a remarkable social upliftment.
Being the social worker of Dewas, he has been taking several initiatives towards sports promotion, women empowerment, sanitation facilities and agricultural development. Further, he endeavours to raise awareness on such topics, in order to improve their standard of living.
The Puarclan has devoted their lives to Dewas and its people. Late Maharaja Tukoji Rao Puar, father of Vikram Singh, is remembered for his passion and concern towards the people. He was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Madhya Pradesh who administered various development projects.
The projects that he dispensed in Dewas include, construction of the Shipra Dam project, the Dewas Bypass road, a ropeway to MaaChamunda Devi temple and MaaTuljaBhawani temple in the Tekri region.
Vikram Singh Puar has always looked at his father as a role model. His father’s teachings are clearly visible in his works. The philanthropist returned back to his hometown after attaining higher education from London to serve the people. As a result of his efforts, he has been receiving immense respect and trust from them.
